Just some pictures today

I live near this giant poo

This is a store in Akihabara that is selling souvenirs of CHANGE. In this case CHANGE means the current prime minister, Taro Aso, who replaced a quick succession of two previous prime ministers (who resigned out of shame) from the same political party. Aso is particularly beloved in Akihabara because he boasts of reading roughly a thousand pages of manga a week and gave his first public speeches as LDP president and prime minister in Akihabara, addressing the wotaku of Japan specifically. He is known as Rozen Aso in Akiba because someone posted on the Internet forum 2ch that they saw him reading Rozen Maiden on the train. In this picture you see Japan's beloved former PM Jun'ichiro Koizumi passing on the torch to Rozen Aso.

Not shown: a huge wall in the central street of Akiba calling Taro a "cool old man"
